About Amazing Seafood Recipes
Welcome to AmazingSeafoodRecipes.com. This site has recently been reworked and improved, boasting more content than ever before and offering more features and a superior standard of usability for you, the visitor.
We have merged four different seafood-related sites together to create this one comprehensive site. The main reason for this is having the ability to have all these great recipes and useful content in the same place, and to have one major seafood site to bring you, the user, everything you might be searching for, whether that might be a shrimp salad recipe, a seafood broth recipe, how to prepare seafood, or how to make tuna fish cakes, plus plenty more of course.
Something About Myself
My name is Christine and I am the mother of 4 amazing young boys, and I have been married to my wonderful husband for over 20 years now. I have chosen to work from home, for a variety of reasons. One of the things I set out to do when I started my Internet business was to offer Internet users a better experience than they were used to.
Food is a big part of our lives, as anyone else with a spouse and a number of children will identify with. Guys love to eat but can get tired of the same meals being served every week, which is why discovering new recipes is so important to me.
Unfortunately I suffer from MS, which compromises my ability to stand for long periods of time, but I still want to prepare good, healthy meals for my family, and not settle for junk in a box.
It was crucial for this need to be reflected in all my websites because I was unable to find anywhere else offering easy, nutritious and appealing recipes back then. To be honest, I’m ashamed of what some of my fellow entrepreneurs are putting out there. It’s about as good as the stuff in the boxes I refused to give my family, and written without any love or passion.
I aim to offer plain, simple quality, from the articles on the homepage to the recipes you can find throughout the categories inside. This is the same whether we are talking about one of our main course sites like AmazingMexicanRecipes.com or one of our dessert sites like DecadentDessertRecipes.com. I am passionate about food and cooking, and I hope that passion clearly shows on every page.
Why Fish and Seafood?
It often seems to me that people focus far more on proteins like beef, pork and chicken, way more than they think about fish and seafood, so I would like to bring these healthy alternatives back into focus.
Fish does not have to be an expensive option, and there are plenty of budget fish to choose from. Some recipes will allow you to choose from fresh, canned or imitation crab, so you can tailor each recipe to your budget as well as your preference.
There are so many kinds of fish to choose from, as well as ways to cook them. Discover all the best crab salads, impressive seafood appetizers for your next dinner party, learn how to bake fish, find out the best way to cook cod or tuna, or simply browse our site and see what catches your eye.
Our Core Food Sites
AmazingSeafoodRecipes.com started out as four separate fish and seafood recipe sites. In November of 2009, when we decided to take a major new approach to every single site we run. In the second half of 2013, we felt it was time for a facelift for our most popular sites, merging some together, and offering increased user functionality, as well as search engine and user enhancements, and we set out to make the best and most comprehensive seafood site on the net.
We have taken more than a hundred sites offline and focused on a core group of food sites which we have set out to make true authority sites on each and every category we cover. Of course it wasn’t possible to do that without addressing fish and seafood, because they’re such versatile ingredients to use, and such a joy to cook with.
We made a major investment into new content, as well as a brand new, entirely WordPress-based CSS design, and hundreds of pages loaded with more content than ever before. Many hours of research and writing, design and coding have gone into every page of this site, as well as others which we run.
We hope you are pleased with the results we have achieved. If you are, then why not share the site at your favorite social bookmark site and let others know what you have found? We honestly appreciate your votes and it helps us concentrate on what we do best – provide all the best content and recipes you love to cook.
Bon Appétit, and thanks for visiting,
Christine and Everyone here at AmazingSeafoodRecipes.com
